Sometime last year it was reported that Converse was sponsoring around 53 high school basketball teams. I tried to find out who those schools were, but unfortunately I was not able to get that information. Since then I've been searching here and there trying to find out who these teams are. Well it took a little while, but I've found one of them...Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in NYC. Cardozo is coached Ron "The Teacher" Naclerio and so far this season they are 14-0 and the #1 team in the Queens AA divison.
They made a thank you video for Converse in which you get a nice look at their shoes, but more importantly for me, their Converse jerseys. I can only hope this is a sign of things to come.

It's a small start but Nike is still killing this company basketball wise. We got a Converse outlet here in NC and one of the managers said that Converse is more Chuck Taylor not basketball anymore. Thank you Nike!
