Glen Davis Offically with Converse

As was reported here earlier this year, it looks official that Glen Davis has signed with Converse. Hopefully he's just one of many new additions to Team Converse this season.  Below is a screen grab from IamBigBaby.com.  Look for Davis in either the Converse DefCON or Pro Leather 2k11 when the NBA season tips off.

 

The Converse Blog: Elton Brand

So I leave on vacation for a week and Elton Brand signs with the 76ers. Then when I get home I see that Converse has finally publicly acknowledged that they signed Elton Brand, last year. However, it is only on one of their new Micro-sites. You can find it by going to the site It's Been Way Too Long. I won't spoil it for you, but it already has me fired up for next season.



This also fires me up, a potential Elton Brand signature shoe. It also could be a player exclusive colorway of a new Converse shoe. Either way it is a sneaker that I haven't seen before. At first I thought it was the 099 but then I actually looked at it and realized that it wasn't. Then I found these other views of the shoe the really got me excited.

The Converse Blog: Elton Brand

Recently I showed some pictures and video of Elton Brand wearing the Converse Hops. However, in his first three games back he has been wearing the Converse Game Time. You've seen this shoe on the Blog before, and also on the feet of Andre Miller for a good part of the season.

Below are some game shots of Elton in the Converse Game Time. You can sort of see a logo on the tongue. As close as I can tell it's a large B with a smaller E inside of it. Hopefully we'll see the logo on a signature shoe for Elton.

Andre Miller has been working wonders in the Game Time this year. I truly believe that he has been one of the most over looked and under appreciated players not only this year but through his whole career. I can't wait to see what he can lead the Sixers to this post season. I think they might surprise some people.

In the three games Elton has played he's looked great for not playing all year. I look forward to seeing where he ends for next season.
