Converse at FIBA World Championships

While you won't find Converse on the feet of any team USA players, you can still find Converse at the FIBA World Championship.

First up is Carlos Arroyo who is rocking a mid top version of the Star Player EVO.

Below Argentina's Leonardo Gutierrez (L) is rocking an Argentina Exclusive colorway of the Star Player EVO while Luis Cequeira (R) is playing the Converse EB1

Finally, Spain's Fernando San Emeterio is wearing the Converse Wade Team Signature.

Converse One Star Sport: Trail Running Shoe

A few weeks ago I made a post that introduced you to the new Converse One Star Sport line. I first showed you the running shoe, and today we're going to take a look at the Trail Running shoe.  They come in two colorways.  The male colorway is the silver/red/black seen below, and the female colorway is in the gray/yellow.

The shoes also feature the Converse Sense technology along with Flex Grooves and an All Terrain outsole.  You can pick these up at Target.com and Amazon.com

Carlos Arroyo PE Star Player EVO from World Basketball Festival

By now you should have a pretty good idea of the Converse Star Player EVO as it has been featured on this site and many other sneaker blogs.  What you might not have seen yet is the Player Exclusive version that Carlos Arroyo wore during the World Basketball Festival.  I hope to see plenty of players in the NBA this season rocking their own player exclusives too.  I also think these will look pretty good in Miami Heat colors.  Anyway, enjoy

Converse World Basketball Festival T-Shirt

Converse shows love to New York with their take on the classic I Heart NYC T-shirts.  They feature the star and chevron logo which is very exciting.  Below you'll see the colors they come in, the last one is Orange for you colorblind people out there.  Converse.com has them in sizes S to XL, but if you go over to Eastbay.com they  have them in 2XL.

Converse One Star Running introduce new Converse Sense Technology.

Converse has finally returned to the performance running category, albeit it's through their One Star brand exclusively sold at Target and Amazon.  Below are the two men colorways in white/navy/yellow and the black/white/silver.  There is also a womens colorway in sliver/blue.

Also in the shoe is Converse's new cushioning technology named "Converse Sense."  I don't know much about it other then it appears to be a foam based system.  I hope to  have more information soon.

Above Flex Groove area of the shoe, below is the Heel Strike area.  All pictures from Amazon.com

Here is the Women's colorway

I'm obviously very excited, this is the first time Converse has offered a performance running shoe since...well around 2000 when they had one Helium running shoe release.  I hope this is a sign of things to coming from the Star and Chevron side of Converse.  Anyway, follow along for more updates on twitter @TheConverseBlog
