Converse Coolidge Mid hits ConverseOne.

Welcome to The Converse Blog.  Today's post is really exciting to me on a couple different levels.  The Converse Coolidge Mid has hit ConverseOne.  I'm fired up about this because for the first time a shoe designed after 1986 has hit ConverseOne.  This gives me hope that someday a modern performance basketball shoe will hit ConverseOne, you know like the Weapon EVO...hint hint.  I also take it to mean that original Converse coolidge has performed well enough to warrant a ConverseOne release.  This also marks the Converse skate shoe from Converse to hit ConverseOne.  So there is a lot of exciting aspects of this shoe being on ConverseOne.  Here are some colorways that I mocked up below, I make the ID SK8 but you can make it your own.

'S Weapon Wednesday: Steelers Weapon

I've got to be honest, I was pulling for Arizona in the Super Bowl.  However, this wasn't like last year where I hated one team.  I actually like Pittsburgh, but I had to cheer for a team that hadn't won a championship in 61 years.  Well we all know what happened, and it ended up being a great football game.  So to honor the 6 time Super Bowl champs, today's Weapon's come in Pittsburgh Steelers black and gold.

As you can see these Weapons come with the ankle strap, which means that they're from Converse Korea.  Sorry steelers fans, unless you have some connections.  You'll just have to wait until the Weapons pop up on Converse One so you can design your own.

The Converse Blog's Weapon Wednesday: Weapons and Pro Leathers on Converse One

It's taken years, but today I am happy to announce that the Converse Weapon will be available on Converse One. If you don't know, Converse One is the program in which Converse shoes can be customized. You'll find that the page works the same as Nike Id. The Weapons won't be available until the fall, but they went ahead and put up the option so people will know. Which is why I am telling you today. You will be able to customize both the mid and ox versions of the Weapons.

However, that's not all. The Pro Leathers will also be up on Converse One. They will be for sale sometime this summer, in hi and low versions. Also there will be limited edition Chuck prints, double upper Chucks, seasonal chuck prints, and another Chevron and Star shoe called the Premiere Player.





I can't tell you how excited I am about these developments. I had heard that there would be a classic basketball shoe up soon, but I had no idea there would be both Weapons and Pro Leathers.
