The Converse Blog: Converse Skateboarding

I still don't have my computer back from the shop, but there is just too much stuff going on to wait it out. While I don't have most of my pictures I do have Internet access so I am going to do my best and post up some Converse goodness today.

Previous this year I teased you all with information about Converse Skateboarding. There were a lot of rumors about a possible return to world of Skateboarding with a new Converse Skate team. Well now it is official, http://www.converseskateboarding.com/ is live and ready for you to drive a train through. All of the new products can be viewed there a long with info on the team. Which officially includes the ambassadors, or the team members. The team includes Anthony Pappalardo, Ethan Fowler, Sammy Baca, Raymond Molinar (pictured above), Nick Trapasso.

There is also a really cool ConSkate map application that I haven't really been able to play around with yet, but it looks very promising. Also I must mention that while the website address is Converseskating.com, they're actually going by the name of CONS Skateboarding.

The Converse Blog's Weapon Wednesday: Weapon Skate

Recently rumors have been flooding in that Converse has started up their Skate Team again. The rumors suggest that so far Kenny Anderson has returned to Converse along with Anthony Pappalardo, Alex Olson, Raymond Molinar. I remember the first time Converse tried out having a skate team, and there were some really amazing shoes to come out in that time. Skate shoes with React 2 and Helium even made their way to the market. I have a pair of the Helium shoes named for Chany Jeanguenin that I will profile in a Friday Flashback soon.

However, today is Wednesday and Wednesdays are for Weapons. So to continue the theme above here are some better pics of the Converse Weapon Skate. These aren't my pictures, but I can't remember where I found them. But what I do know is that I will be buying a pair of these when they come out.

I am really excited about the unique outsole made for these. I really like the touch of having a modified Weapon upper and a Chuck midsole.
