Converse x D.C. Comics Legion of Doom All Star at Journeys

Believe it or not, one of the most visited post this past year was the Green Lantern Chucks from Journeys.  So lets hope lightening strikes twice with this post.  Journeys has also released a pair of Chucks titled Legion of Doom.  Which I assume is a group of D.C. Comic villains.  Anyway one shoe you have the villains and the other you have the heroes.

The Legion of Doom features Lex Luther, Brainiac, The Joker, and The Penguin

Here is the hero side of the shoe featuring Wonder Woman, Robin, Batman, Flash, The Green Lantern, and of course Superman.

You can pick a pair up here at Journeys.  Thanks for checking out the blog and please don't forget to follow along on Twitter @TheCovnerseBlog

I want to let everyone know that the "Legion of Doom" sneakers are separate from the superhero pair. These are not two-sided sneakers. Check out Journeys.com and click on the "zoom button". You will see that the other side of the villians pair has only the Converse logo.

The superhero sneakers will probably be sold later on; its not on the website right now. The only place the superhero pair has been advertised is on the back of DC comic books.

I'm pretty sure that one shoe has the Villains and the other shoe has heroes. While each shoe is plan with the Converse Chuck Taylor Logo on the inside. So if you put the shoes toe to toe you would be able to see the villains and heroes charging at each other on one side and the plan Chuck Taylor on the opposite side.

Are you going to have larger sizes? I saw on the Journeys site that the various DC Comics versions only go up to men's size 10.

guess what? Journeys.com just placed today the other side of the sneakers, showing the superhero side. they didn't have it before, so that's why some people were confused about whether it was one pair or two separate. they should have been a little more clear about it, but now the picture of the heroes is finally shown under the description.
